Apples oranges in basket puzzle

There are three closed and opaque cardboard boxes. One is labeled "APPLES", another is labeled "ORANGES", and the last is labeled "APPLES AND ORANGES". You know that the labels are currently misarranged, such that no box is correctly labeled. You would like to correctly rearrange these labels. To accomplish this, you may draw only one fruit from one of the boxes. Which box do you choose, and how do you then proceed to rearrange the labels?

pick one from say the box labelled apples,
a.if its an orange, rename it to Oranges, rename the O & A to apples and the other to Apples.

b.if its an apple, then rename it to O&A, the O box to Apples and the O&A box to Oranges

Neglect previous answer..that seems incorrect.

Pick a fruit from the O&A box,

1.If its an O, rename it to Oranges, the box named A to O&A and the O box to A.

2.If its an A, rename it to Apples,
the box named O to O&A and the A box to O.
